Jack Zebig is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Plainfield, IL who attends Marmion Academy. Large frame with strong, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Hits from balanced and slightly open stance with lower hand set, small stride with simple load, flatter path, does create leverage, shows strength into pull-gap, good power upside. Worked out in the infield, clean hands out front, good funnel, works through with balance, solid athleticism in lower half, clocked up to 82 mph on throws across. Also pitched, coils over back leg to load, clean arm stroke to 3/4 slot, fastball worked 70-76 mph with straight action, showed curveball with good 10/5 shape and depth, pounded the zone and got quick outs. Excellent student.
