Carter Hunt is a 2021 SS/RHP with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Del Norte. Long and lean frame with present athleticism and plenty of room to fill. Ran a 7.45 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with sound actions to the ball, moves around the infield well with looseness and confidence, glove works under the ball with quick transfers and a quick release while using arm strength to throw from multiple slots. Also pitched, showed great upside on the mound with looseness and athleticism to movements, controls the body well with a quick arm filling the zone with a fastball up to 88 mph and feel for a legitimate out pitch in a hard-biting 12-to-6 curveball. Right-handed hitter, sets up slightly open, has a balanced and repeatable swing with the ability to get the barrel out front and generate line drive contact to the pull side.
