Brock Jacobs is a 2021 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Central, SC who attends D W Daniel. Medium frame with strength present on the build. Ran a 7.44 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, high intensity delivery with recoil at release, creates good arm speed at take back, coils over his back leg at balance point, will improve arm strength with additional lower half involvement. Fastball topped out at 84 mph while flashing short life when down in the zone, mixed in a curveball with varying shape from 11-5 to slurve-type action, command flashed best when releasing out in front with best location coming from the heater. Secondary first baseman, fields the baseball out in front working through it well, low effort actions with a sidearm slot, showed similar actions in the infield with similar arm strength as well. Righthanded hitter, starts his swing with a leg lift trigger, flashed a barrel ability and worked the baseball on a line when on time. Good student.
