Cason Davis is a 2023 2B/SS with a 5-7 127 lb. frame from Mineola, TX who attends Mineola. Slender young build. 7.78 runner, has good fundamental footwork in his infield movements, has sure and confident hands due to his footwork, has a quick release and makes accurate throws, will continue to improve with the good base he has now to grow into defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a bent knee stance with a high back elbow load, late hand takeaway hurts his timing, swings hard and creates some bat speed with an uphill swing plane, has an aggressive approach at the plate.
