Cole Randazzo is a 2022 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 134 lb. frame from Slidell, LA who attends Northshore HS. Very slender young build, minimal present strength. Works from the stretch with simple turn and throw mechanics, deliberate takeaway in back, 3/4's arm slot coming through with good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, mostly straight with occasional sinking action. Soft curveball, threw strikes with both pitches and competed. 7.78 runner, moved through the ball well in the outfield and had a long and loose arm stroke. Right handed hitter, hits from a upright wide base with split hands on the bat, short swing with opposite field contact. Key to his development will be getting stronger. Very good student.
