Chris Sosa is a 2020 3B/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from St Cloud, FL who attends Central Pointe Christian HS. Slender young build. Right handed hitter, limited shift into contact or lower half use, hands driven swing, opposite field to mid field contact, will improve as a hitter with adjustments and additional strength. 6.75 runner, has quick actions on the field and plays hard, speed is his best tool. Second base tools and look defensively, has some young arm strength from an over the top release point. Leg tuck delivery, has some deception in his delivery, high 3/4's arm slot with a long arm swing, good extension out front, lots of energy on release. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with occasional cutting action when down in the zone. Curveball flashed tight spin and some 11/5 bite and depth. Good student.
