Michael Josephson Jr is a 2021 3B/RHP/C with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Eagle, WI who attends Catholic Memorial High School. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and nice present physical proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.99 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, field the ball out front and hands play at ball, moves well on feet and remains accurate on the move, tight arm action and shows carry to throws when on top of ball with present arm strength. Also pitched, quick delivery with repeatable mechanics, hip turn at top with on line lower half. Short and loose arm action working to a higher three-quarters arm slot. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, flashed 11-5 shaped curveball at 64 mph and flashed changeup at 68 mph with fading life. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Moving parts to load with leg lift trigger, shows quick hands through the zone with a short swing path. Creates torque and incorporates strength well while hitting the ball out front; will continue to unlock pop off the bat with additional lower half involved. Good student.
