Ryan Preciado is a 2019 1B/ with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Patrick Henry. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. ran a 7.19 sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman with fundamentally sound footwork while centering the baseball. Funnels the baseball from a slightly deeper position and works through transition with developing fluidity. Creates some hook at take back and released from a three-quarters slot topping at 73 miles per hour across the infield. Left handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and high back elbow set. Coils hand at load and works to contact on a loose path. Created some lift through extension when connecting with baseball out front. Showed developing feel for the barrel but flashed the ability to work to pull side with some jump off the barrel when squared. Very good student as well.
