Mickey Martinez is a 2026 SS/RHP, MIF with a 6-1 100 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Las Vegas. He ran a 7.60 second sixty. A primary short stop with a tall slender build. On the infield he presents the hands early out front fielding the ball away from the body with some feel for the footwork as he moves into the throws with young developing arm strength getting the ball across the diamond accurately. On the mound he showed some drop and drive actions on the back side as he drives down the mound landing closed and throwing with some cross fire actions from a three-quarters arm slot creating some deception for the hitters. He ran the fastball up to 78 mph showing better up in the zone as he is able to generate swing and miss with the riding life and paired well with the slider in the mid 60's that still has young traits but projects well moving forward. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base with a simple stride shifting the weight into contact as the barrel works on a direct path to the ball, worked the ball the other way at his best with limited bat speed that will continue to improve with maturity. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
