Payne Bryan is a 2023 3B/RHP, 1B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Vestavia Hills. Medium, athletic frame with broadness to shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves well on feet and works behind the ball, can incorporate additional footwork moving through backhand, fields the ball out front, works on top of throws and shows accuracy across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with a spread and open stance with a medium hand set and a high back elbow in the box; utilizes a toe tap moving into stride. Shifts well moving into contact, keeps hands inside throughout and shows a long swing path through the zone. Looks to lift at the point of contact, shows a handle for the barrel and projects with additional extension out front.
