Zach Wyatt is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Seymour, TN who attends Seymour HS. Medium frame with a lean build. Projects for additional size with strength. Primary outfielder with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while closing to the baseball. Clean glove actions while working through pick up and released from a compact arm actions. Throws producing accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 83 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a balanced, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Swung with intent while working to contact with rotational lower half actions. Simple, repeatable hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Flashed the barrel control to work the baseball to all fields but primarily look to drive the baseball between the gaps. Also pitched utilizing a balanced, deliberate delivery. Stayed balanced at gather and released from a loose over top arm slot. Showed good feel to arm side with a fastball offering that topped at 81 miles per hour. Curveball had 12/6 shape with tight spin and good depth to the bottom of the zone. Flashed good feel for breaking ball with the ability to consistently located offering to the bottom of the zone. Very good student as well.
