Brock Weiss is a 2021 RHP with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Regis Jesuit. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Righthanded pitcher, low effort and easy operation on the mound, high leg lift up past belt with a compact arm stroke working to a high three-quarters release point, occasionally gets to an over-the-top release. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly true in life, filled the strike zone and repeats mechanics. Shows comfort adding and subtracting velocity on breaking ball up to 68 mph, can land for strikes consistently, tends to drop slot at release, shows 10-4 shape with horizontal break. Changeup shows fading life to arm side at 68 mph. Mixed three pitches and filled the zone throughout. Good student.
