Cooper Harrison is a 2021 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Las Cruces, NM who attends Las Cruces HS. Tall and lanky frame with long limbs and room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.30 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, begins his delivery with a side step up to a belt high leg lift, coils on back leg and bends at waist at gather, takes his arm back to a full arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, works best when repeating his delivery, strides online to the plate. Fastball lived primarily to the armside of the plate, offering is straight and topped out at 78 mph, young command on the mound that will improve with additional reps at the position, should develop an offspeed pitch for added effectiveness. Secondary outfielder, fields the baseball out in front with two hands, takes arm back to a loose arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, comes through the baseball well creating uphill carry to throws, topped out at 76 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an open stance and a high hand set, takes a compact swing to impacting the baseball, utilizes a toe tap trigger that is used for timing purposes, downhill swing plane, will improve at the plate with additional strength and lower half involvement.
