Jalen Jones is a 2020 OF/ with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Arbor View. Young, athletic frame with slender present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.17 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, open stance with high back elbow set and rotational lower half through swing. Hands work well into swing; getting on line drive plane and showing ability to control the barrel through the zone. Has good overall contact ability, showed willingness to work to all fields, will drive the ball more as he adds strength. Worked out in the outfield, comes in on the ball well and does a good job maintaining momentum through the ball, fields cleanly and gets off clean release, throws clocked up to 74 mph. Good student.
