Michael Mugan is a 2020 OF/RHP/IF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Seaside, CA who attends Monterey. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.02 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, pulls leg back to load, middle-field approach with linear swing plane, gets barrel out front, shows ability to work to all fields with impact, squared up a good number of hard liners, projects well as he continues to gain strength. Primary outfielder, athleticism moving to ball and working through it, gathers feet well and shows balance, quickness to release, clocked up to 86 mph on throws. Also took infield reps, showed active feet and clean hands, clocked up to 84 mph on throws. Pitched as well, inline arm stroke through the back with hook on the back end, high three quarters slot, fastball worked 78-82 mph to both sides of the plate, showed 11/5-shaped curveball with good depth that he landed for strikes.
