Caleb Heuertz is a 2020 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from San Angelo, TX who attends Wall. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Two-way prospect. Right handed hitter who hits from a narrow stance with a line drive swing approach and a low hand start, has lots of bat speed with a quick and short swing, hard pull contact in the games. 7.06 runner, showed his athleticism very well on defense both in the infield and the outfield, works through the ball smoothly with balance at both positions, efficient movements in his exchange and footwork, plenty of arm strength, middle of the field type of player. Long and loose very extended high 3/4's arm stroke on the mound, fast arm coming through. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with lots of downhill angle. Tunneled slider well with his fastball and it has nice consistent biting action. Good student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
