Roberto Thelusma is a 2018 OF with a 6-0 157 lb. frame from Apopka, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Medium-large frame with lean, athletic present build; body projects very well. Ran well, posting a 6.75 seconds 60 yard dash time. Sets up to hit from wide-based stance with open front leg, high hands and back elbow as well. Quick leg lift trigger, line drive swing plane with good hand quickness on path, pull-side approach for the most part with solid barrel control, did a good job working to all fields when necessary. Swing and body both project well in terms of power moving forward. Worked out defensively in the outfield, lines the ball up well and waits back to field, moves well to the ball, athletic movements and actions, fields cleanly and works through into throwing mechanics, threw 74 MPH to target with solid accuracy. Very good student.
