Adrien Roa is a 2017 OF/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Pembroke Pnes, FL who attends Charles W Flanagan. Large frame with long limbs and present strength throughout. Ran a 7.39 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with compact, deliberate footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling the baseball and released from a full, smooth arm action that created some carry to the bag, topped at 79 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a wide, balanced stance and a simple leg lift trigger. Showed present bat speed through the zone with a leveraged swing plane. Primarily worked the baseball between the outfield gaps, but also showed the ability to turn barrel to contact and generate hard, loud contact to the pull side gap. Tools will continue to develop with repetition and fluidity. Good student. Named to the 2017 World Uncommitted Top Prospect List.
