Tyshon Patty is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 154 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Mountain View. Large and physically advanced frame, more room to fill out and project on. Ran a 7.84 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with a clean fielding position and footwork, works well to either side and comes through the ball nicely it his release, loose arm and high 3/4 arm slot throws up to 77 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts his delivery with a side step up to a belt high leg lift, takes a short stride down the mound striding closed off to the plate, utilizes a full arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, fastball reaches 78 mph with a curveball that has good depth mixed in as well, has a feel for the strike zone with both offerings. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an even stance, takes a short stride into contact, loose swing with a lift to his path, creates extension as well as jump and backspin when on time meeting the ball, strength is advanced and will hit for power in the future as he continues to fill out.
