LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 Sophomore National Showcase (2025 Grads)
Sean Ashenfelder is a 2025 C/SS/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from St. Johns, FL who attends Creekside. Long and lanky athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.70 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher but a true all position athlete who could really develop as a utility player, grades out pretty equally as a catcher, infielder and outfielder. Has clean actions behind the plate, plenty of lower half quickness and flexibility, makes accurate throws with some carry, projects at the position as he gets stronger. Speed gives him a chance to have plus range in the outfield, profiles best as a third baseman on the dirt. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a toe tap load, well-timed swing with an all fields approach, very good barrel skills with some present bat speed and more to come, lots of offensive projection. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
