Austin Walker is a 2020 C with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Hamilton, GA who attends Harris County HS. Large and sturdy frame with present strength on the build especially in the lower half. Ran a 7.64 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up to receive in a low position, comes up out of his crouch with developing quickness to actions, longer arm stroke at take back with limited arm strength, could work on gaining more ground into throws for additional zip to throws, 2.40 second best pop time. Righthanded hitter, sets up to hit with a high back elbow, wraps hands at load, upper half dominant swing with a high finish, could utilize lower half more into swing for added pop off of the barrel, line drive pull side approach with some barrel ability. Good student.
