Ray Guereca is a 2020 LHP/1B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Hoschton, GA who attends Jackson County HS. Recorded an 8.09 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with a very strong lower half and present strength and physicality throughout. Primary lefthanded pitcher who lands open with the strike foot. Three-quarters arm slot and gets solid extension. Gets on top of the fastball well, recorded up to 80 mph, with an arm heavy delivery. Utilizes the lower half well into his delivery with good push off the rubber. Throws strikes consistently and not afraid to work up in the strike zone. Difficult at-bat for hitters of the same handedness with a tough angle upon entry of the strike zone. Mixed in a curveball with 1/7 shape and developing feel for spin. Great student.
