William Brooks is a 2023 C/3B/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Pembroke, NC who attends Saint Pauls. Medium frame with room to fill in the build. Ran a 7.95 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with good lower half mechanics and longer arm action with high effort and intent to throws. Also worked out in the infield with looseness to actions, confidence with the glove and a quick arm. Worked out in the outfield as well where he showed quick steps to the ball and bounce to actions, fluidity through receiving and good arm strength on throws. Righthanded hitter, sets up open and spread, works on a longer swing path but gets the barrel head through well, shows quickness and the ability to lift the ball to the middle with good carry when squared. Great student.
