Nikolas White is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Kirkland, WA who attends Lake Washington HS. Large frame with long, lean present build; extremely projectable moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.88 seconds. Primary pitcher, shorter arm stroke to three quarters arm slot, uses lower half well in driving downhill towards the plate. Stays online through release then falls a bit towards 1B side. Fastball worked 78-81 MPH, showing solid arm side life and overall solid command of the pitch. Mixed in both a curveball with 11/5 shape and good sweeping action and a changeup with good velocity separation and deception. Sets up to hit from open stance, shows lofted swing plane with high finish and extension, rotational in torso, generates solid bat speed and has good strength in swing. Worked out defensively in the outfield, shows clean routes to the ball with solid footwork, fields cleanly out front and gets off clean overtop release with throws clocked up to 78 MPH.
