Joey Palamara is a 2020 3B/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Albuquerque, NM who attends Hope Christian Schools Inc. Medium frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with small leg lift trigger, wraps hands back into load, swings the bat hard with intent and solid bat speed, pull-side approach with some lift to swing, showed solid barrel skills and ability to drive it a bit when square. Worked out in the infield, plays on toes and shows good footwork, hands work very well out front with clean funnel, gets off quick release with arm strength clocked up to 78 mph. Also pitched, high leg lift to initiate, compact arm circle to high three quarters slot, good direction and balance to delivery, straight fastball worked 75-77 mph with good command. Worked in 11/5-shaped curveball with solid depth, also flashed changeup. Very good student.
