Bryce Long is a 2018 OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Bothell, WA who attends Bothell HS. Medium-large, athletic frame with slender present build; lots of physical projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.48 seconds. Sets up to hit with simple load and mechanics for the most part. Short, compact stroke with solid hand path, inside-out swing path with intent to hit the ball back up the middle and to opposite field. Showed ability to slice ball into opposite field gap, solid strength off the barrel at present with more coming as well. Worked out defensively in the outfield, shows good footwork to and through the ball with clean fielding actions. Loose arm stroke with projectable arm strength, made accurate throws to target with throws clocked up to 78 MPH. Good student.
