Lucas Golovcsenko is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Briarcliff, NY who attends Briarcliff. Long and lean build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. Works from a full wind up with a cross body release out front, has a loose and whippy arm from a 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot, has some deception to his mechanics but repeats them well. Fastball worked in the mid-70's and topped out at 77 mph, gets nice running life on his fastball. Did a good job landing a slurve type breaking ball for strikes and giving hitters a different look, doesn't throw much straight. Very good bet to keep adding velocity as he matures. 8.24 runner in the sixty. Has the same long and whippy arm action in the outfield and makes accurate throws, tends to wait back on the ball. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with limited lower half weight shift, tends to pull off his front side early, upper body rotational swing. Outstanding student.
