Spencer Schwehr is a 2018 LHP/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Boise, ID who attends Borah HS. Young medium build, lots of room to get stronger. On line delivery with a high 3/4's arm action, good pace to his delivery. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 75 mph, keeps his fastball down in the zone well and gets occasional arm side running action. Tends to slow arm somewhat on his off speed pitches but shows feel and command of them. Curveball showed 1/7 shape with some depth when he was on top of it, change up has some fading action. Ground ball pitcher who worked low in the zone consistently. Right handed hitter, tall straight stance, simple swing mechanics with occasional square pull line drive contact. 7.32 runner, moves well in the outfield and shows loose athleticism. Good student.
