Tyler Stull is a 2023 2B/3B, SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Chino Hills, CA who attends Chino Hills. Good looking athlete, body projects well. Posted a 7.26 in the 60 yard dash. Primary infielder, displayed good footwork showing some agility, range to both side and good first step on the play. Advanced steps approaching the ball and gets in great position for a good throw, has great present feel for the position. Pretty easy release and solid arm action, does not put much effort behind it. The body control is there and arm strength has time to develop as long as footwork and glove skills continue to improve and maintain efficiency. Right-handed hitter, starts in an even set up, fires on time generating good bat speed and does a good job getting the barrel out in front on contact. Pretty upper half dominant, stride lands a slightly closed-off taking away some barrel and had a difficult time adjusting to the inside part of the zone. As the lower half mechanics improve the natural athlete will find his hitting rhythm. Good student.
