Justin Nace is a 2019 LHP/ with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Smithville, MO who attends Northland Christian. Large frame with broad shoulders and a solid, strong build. Primary left handed pitcher who worked exclusively from the stretch. High leg lift and stays balanced at gather. Works to the plate with drop and drive lower half actions. Lands in line with the plate and carries momentum to glove side at finish. Compact arm circle at take back and released from a low three-quarters slot. Fastball created some natural cut to glove side in the upper 70's, topped at 80 miles per hour. Tends to slow arm speed slightly with breaking ball showing looser spin with occasional depth. Also flashed a changeup that showed good sink to the bottom of the zone in the upper 60's. Looked to challenge hitters down in the zone while effectively changing speeds. Good student as well.
