Colby Nash is a 2018 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Delmar, NY who attends Bethlehem Central Senior. Medium frame with strong, physical present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.63 seconds. Hits from slightly spread stance, cocks hands back into load, legitimate strength in body and it shows up in swing. Whippy barrel through the zone with good bat speed, made consistently hard contact to all fields, showed solid present extra base power with more coming. Primary catcher; receives well and shows solid footwork, somewhat smaller gain, shows quickness to feet and transfer, very good arm strength down to 2nd base on a line, clocked up to 77 mph with pop time as low as 1.93 seconds. Also showed well in the infield, solid one-step range to both sides, fields cleanly and transfers well, throws across up to 82 mph. Named to 2017 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List; excellent student.
