Tucker Jones is a 2019 OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Covington, GA who attends Decatur HS. Strong and athletic frame with present strength to the build. Ran a 7.08 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to the baseball with athletic actions, creates some carry to throws, gets rid of the baseball with a quick release in to target, lower release point causing throws to have some tailing action to them, good arm strength topping out at 87 mph from the outfield. Lefthanded hitter, sets up in an upright gather with a low hand set, simple and repeatable load with a front strike foot, compact swing with some quickness to the baseball, simple approach that works well for him, middle of the field to pull side line drives mostly during his round of batting practice. Named to 2018 Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
