Brandon Herrera is a 2019 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Antonian College Prep. Slender young middle infielder's build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, has a fluid swing from a high back elbow load, open stance with some flow into contact, squared the ball up well in the games and has some projection with the bat as he gets stronger. 7.71 runner, has similar smooth actions on defense, active feet and light on his feet, gets rid of the ball quick with developing arm strength. Also pitched, works from the stretch with an over the top arm slot, tends to fall off to the first base side in his delivery. Threw strikes with a mid-70's fastball and a big breaking curveball and competed well. Good athlete with polished actions who will keep improving as he's able to get stronger. Good student.
