2016 Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase
Tucker Jackson is a 2018 OF/ with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Apex High School. Large frame, lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.19 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, rounded the ball to field, long arm action, quick firs step, and developing arm strength up to 80 mph. At the plate, started with a slightly open stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and a quick leg lift timing mechanism. Short, compact swing to the ball with low effort. Free of leverage in swing with a developing swing plane, and limited lower half. Will continue to improve at the plate with additional rhythm and lower half incorporation. Exceptional student.
