Thomas Ryan is a 2018 C/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Victor, NY who attends Victor Senior. Medium frame with a solid, athletic build and present strength throughout. Ran a 7.78 sixty yard dash. Primary catcher, shows a slightly higher set while receiving. Smooth footwork while working through transition. Extended, smooth paced glove to hand exchanges while working through transition. Arm action shows solid fluidity throughout release topping at 72 mph. Throws produces on line carry to the bag, best workout pop time of 2.13. Right handed hitter with a slightly open stance and leg lift trigger. Creates some linear actions to contact with an inside path. Flashed strength and leverage at times, driving the baseball to the outfield gaps with solid carry. Shows best contact and balance when using a line drive approach to the middle of the field. Tools will continue to develop with physical maturity and repetition. Excellent student as well.
