Dalton Rizer is a 2018 RHP/ with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Quitman, GA who attends Georgia Christian. Large frame with solid, athletic present build; body projects moving forward as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.89 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, stands tall on backside and gathers well over rubber, wrapped arm stroke through the back to mid-three quarters arm slot, clean release downhill. Fastball worked 67-72 MPH with good sinking life down in zone. Showed curveball with 12/6 shape and good depth, also showed changeup with good arm speed and velocity differential from fastball. Mixed and match three pitches and threw strikes successfully, competed very well on the mound. Sets up to hit from upright stance with open base, high hands and back elbow with deep hand load back. Line drive swing plane with simple stride forward, showed good ability to hit the ball to all fields and was successful driving it into the air at times as well. Worked out defensively in the outfield, takes short steps to the ball with good balance, fields cleanly out front and repeats actions from rep to rep, full arm action with smoothness on throws, clocked up to 74 MPH with good accuracy to bag. Good student.
