Brendan Muhs is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Sparta, NJ who attends Sparta. Medium-large frame with slender, athletic build at present, body projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.05 seconds. Primary pitcher, medium-length arm action up to mid three quarters arm slot, gets downhill well and generates plane, finds bottom of the zone with fastball. FB worked 73-77 MPH with some wiggle to arm side, did a good job eliciting weak contact off the pitch, also mixed in a CB with 11/5 shape, quality spin and depth. Worked quickly. Hits from upright stance with deep hand load, line drive swing plane from barred start, hit the ball up the middle or to the pull field consistently, projects to have more pop with continued strength gains. Worked out in the outfield defensively, short steps with quickness to the ball, has quickness in arm, made accurate throws into the infield, topped at 78 MPH. Good student.
