Osiris Castillo is a 2017 SS with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Dominican Republic. Large, athletic build with a lean and long, projectable build with room to fill out, present strength to lower half. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, soft hands and play well out front, quickness to hands moving into exchange, long and loose arm action, extra steps upon release, comes out clean and shows excellent carry and present strength (88 mph) on throws across. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high back elbow and square stance in the box, high leg lift trigger for timing but stays short and simple with weight shift. Full and linear swing plane with extension out front, shows a nice feel for the barrel and employs a contact oriented approach. Shows balance to swing and works the pull side consistently, projects with additional lower half involved in swing.
