Christopher McKenna is a 2021 1B/C, 3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Parkland, FL who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Medium frame with longer limbs and a lean build. Primary first baseman with clean footwork while surrounding the baseball and working around the bag. Funnels the baseball out front with two hands and worked through exchange with loose actions. Clean footwork while pivoting on for double play. Released from a three-quarters slot generating accuracy carry to the bag at 82 mph. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and simple front side trigger. Worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Clean hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Primarily looked to drive the baseball with intent while employing a gap to gap approach. Flashed good jump off the barrel with solid carry to the gaps when squared. Good student as well.
