Ryan Orlov is a 2021 C/1B, 3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Bala Cynwyd, PA who attends Harriton. Medium build with plenty of room to grow and fill out as he develops. Primary catcher, conventional crouch with fluid actions in both his receiving and throwing mechanics. Gains ground on his throws to second base, replaces his feet well. Posted a 8.04 second sixty-yard dash time. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a leg kick trigger. Creates some leverage with a heavy linear weight shift in the box. Finds good pop to his pull side when on time. Good feel for his barrel, excellent student in the classroom as well.
