Jack Plesniarski is a 2021 RHP/2B, 3B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Manahawkin, NJ who attends Southern Regional. Tall frame with longer limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher who worked exclusively from the stretch. Medium leg lift and stays balanced at gather. Worked to the plate with drop and drive lower half actions. Lands in line with front side and maintains momentum to the plate. Compact arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Displayed good arm speed with fastball offering and created run to arm side, topped at 80 miles per hour. Curveball had 10/5 shape with solid spin and sharp depth in the mid 60's. Consistently changed speeds and effectively filled the zone with both offerings. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing clean footwork while rounding the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange with smooth paced actions. Flashed solid range each each side. Released from a mid three-quarters arm slot generating good carry to the bag at 77 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and medium leg lift trigger. Displayed developing feel for the barrel while employing a line drive barrel plane. Primarily looked to drive the ball to the middle of the field but flashed the hand speed to turn the barrel and work to pull side as well. Very good student.
