Nathan Prindle is a 2012 SS/2B with a 6-1 202 lb. frame from Chatham, IL who attends Glenwood. Large frame, atheltic build with present strength. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly open stance and high back elbow set. Creates good shift into contact with linear lower half mechanics to contact. Compact swing path with leverage and natural loft. Swing plane produces present bat speed and carry to the gaps. Showed excellent balance to swing throughout batting practice with loud, consistent contact to all fields. Currently shows solid hitting tools that will play at the next well, paired with a mature approach. Worked out defensively from the infield with smooth athletic actions. Fundamental, smooth footwork while surrouding the baseball with clean glove actions through transition. Plus range to both sides making backhand plays in the hole with ease. Compact arm action with a clean release across the infield, topping at 85 mph. Also ran a 6.58 sixty-yard dash. Named to the 2016 Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
