Kevin Collyar is a 2018 SS/3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Edmond, OK who attends Oklahoma Christian Academy HS. Small framed athlete with plenty of room to grow and mature physically that brings energy to the field. Good runner, ran a 6.82 60 yard sprint. On the infield took to the workout with energy and good pre-swing movements. Good first step to the ball, showed off his range, worked through the backhand, threw well on the run, accurate to the bag. At the plate he has a square stance and simple mechanics. Starts the swing with gather to rear leg, stride separates to strong launch position, with a quick lower half. Mechanically sound actions, gets hips extended, and showed middle of the field approach with are line drives. Good Student
