Daniel Robledo is a 2017 LHP/1B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Sulphur, OK who attends Sulphur High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out. Primary lefthanded pitcher, begins on the middle of the rubber, high leg lift up past belt, short stride towards the plate and lands open with strike foot. Short and compact arm action through the back, works to an extended three-quarters arm slot, throws easy and without much effort, topped out at 73 mph with short running life, able to work away from righthanded hitters and miss bats with sink. Holds velocity out of the stretch, works up in the zone but can induce ground ball contact when down in the zone. Curveball flashes depth with short 1-7 shape, early break out of the hand at 58 mph. More depth to slider at 63 mph. Fields position well coming off the mound. Very good student.
