Nik Levensteins is a 2018 3B/2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Arvada, CO who attends Ralston Valley HS. Tall frame with a lean, athletic build. Shows a balanced, open stance while at the plate. Lower half launches to contact with rotational actions and occasional shift. Extended, line drive swing plane with the ability to turn the barrel to pitches inside. Primarily worked the middle of the field, but flashed bat speed to the pull side gap when squared. Worked out defensively from the outfield showing a quick, compact arm action that generates good carry and very accurate throws. Flashed athletic actions while closing on baseball with smooth glove to hand transitions. Good student as well.
