Hermes Colon is a 2017 OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Humacao, PR who attends Colegio San Antonio Abad. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength throughout build. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, works low when fielding the ball, gathers close to body, full arm action through the back, does a nice job of getting on top of throws create carry and accuracy to intended base, present strength out of hand. Righthanded hitter, starts with an even and square stance with a high hand set in the box. Has a toe tap trigger to begin, aggressive swing and approach and stays short to the ball, occasionally gets to front foot early. Strength plays in swing and shows lift and carry to the opposite field when extended out front, ball comes off the barrel to pull side. Good student.
