Rhen Rider is a 2019 RHP with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Mountain Ridge HS. Compact athletic build, looks bigger than listed, has some mature strength. Works from the stretch, solid directional delivery with good balance and ability to repeat, some effort at release, medium length arm action to a tight high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 87 mph early, settled around 84 mph quickly, throws strikes with his fastball and gets good cutting action at times. Short breaking slider with good power behind it, can get out front more consistently on release with it. Rare change up. Reliever profile as a strike thrower who can attack hitters. Good student.
