Garren Bui is a 2017 OF/MIF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Stevenson Ranch, CA who attends West Ranch HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. Good runner, 6.85 in the sixty, has the speed for centerfield, deep arm action in back, makes on line accurate throws, also plays infield but has young actions there. Right handed hitter, balanced relaxed stance with a leg lift load, swings hard from a low hand start, some uphill plane to his swing, squares the ball up well and can drive it to the gaps, good overall swing approach. Excellent student.
