Samuel Carman is a 2017 OF/ with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Burnsville, MN who attends Burnsville HS. Medium frame, slender build, room to fill out physically as he puts on additional strength. Ran a 6.87 60-yard dash, moves well. From the outfield, developing actions through the baseball, clean transfers, throws from a lower 3/4 arm slot, flashed arm strength up to 80 MPH, made accurate throws to bases. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a slightly closed stance and a neutral hand set. Middle of the field approach, good balance, quick hands and bat speed, hard barrels to opposite field, full swing, hits on back side, developing pitch recognition. Excellent student.
