Jacob Mitchell is a 2017 SS/ with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Lane Technical. Small frame that will fill. Slightly open stance. Hands load and create coil. Linear swing with fluid actions and compact hand path to contact. Shows ability to use all fields with a line drive swing plane. Will drive ball as strength continues to develop. Diciplined, patient hitter at plate in games. Shows some range to both sides in the infield. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with short quick arm actions. Fluid on seperation and release on throws across. Topped at 68 mph.
